A. Monique Portelli, M.Cl.Sc., SLP(C), Reg. CASLPO
Monique has experience working with individuals of all ages and with a widespread range of communication difficulties. For over 25 years, she has worked with Community Care Access Centre-based services, school boards, and in private practice. She has assessed and treated children and adults with articulation, stuttering, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing difficulties. While she enjoys working with clients of all ages, Monique has special interests in working with people who stutter and children in the Junior and Senior Kindergarten ages.
Monique completed her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from the University of Alberta. After working a year as a School Board SLP, she obtained her Masters of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Western Ontario. Since then, she has continued to work with both children (primarily with the school-aged population) and adults. This allowed her to acquire an understanding of publicly funded speech-language services and experience collaborating with other professionals.
In her free time, Monique enjoys working as a fitness instructor, volunteering, and crafting.
